What the Jam?!

Seriously, I never knew you could make jam in a bread machine! Say what! Oh My God. This could be an ultimate craving delight. So here we are, 4 JARS OF STRAWBERRY & RASBERRY JAM LATER...

HERE'S THE CATCH:
If you own a bread machine (I have a hamilton beach bread maker, its amazing and affordable), your going to do yourself a favor, especially if you have a sweet tooth. Drop everything your doing at once, make a trip to walmart and get the following:

Okay! Pause, take a breath, and throw the pectin, a 600grams pack of your favorite berries along with two table spoons of lemon juice and finally add 2 cups of sugar, Now stick that mixture into your bread machine and crank on to the Jam "cycle", this is how my hamilton beach bread machine shows its various cycles, to make your life easy...and oh ya, absolutely indulgent.

NOTE: It is important to let your jam cool for 1 hour before you jar it.

TASTY NOTES:
  • jams usually consist of coarser forms of fruit, (eg, whole strawberry preserve) as opposed to jellies (which require gelatin, or simply fruit preserves) either way its definitely my idea of a toast and jam kind of a morning, perhaps because I suffer from having a sweet tooth!
  • In my experience, this is one thing you got to try if you have a bread machine, Its the answer to my prayers as a busy mom, With minutes of preparation, I now have 4 little jars of delicious jam, some of which will be going into a gift basket that I am making for a sweet little girl's birthday.
  • Quality Control! I was never a fan of commercial jam since it had too many additives, Well now I can see what goes in my dessert, its that simple. Short and Sweet.
